Connect Your Google Calendar & Contacts to Zoom

Connecting your YMCA Google account to Zoom makes it easier to manage meetings, calls, and contacts directly from Zoom Workplace.

Why Connect Your Google Account?

Calendar Integration

  • See your Google Calendar meetings directly in Zoom Workplace.
  • Quickly join upcoming Zoom meetings.
  • Keep Zoom meetings and Google Calendar events synchronized.
  • Reduce the need to switch between Google Calendar and Zoom.

Contact Integration

  • Access your Google Contacts from Zoom Workplace.
  • Search for personal or external contacts you already have saved in Google.
  • Use saved phone numbers when making Zoom Phone calls.
  • Makes it easier to find contacts when calling or sending SMS messages.
  • Continue managing your contacts in Google rather than maintaining a separate list in Zoom.

After Connecting

Your upcoming Google Calendar events will be available from Zoom Workplace.

Your Google Contacts will also become available in Zoom, making it easier to find and call people whose phone numbers you already have saved.

Good to Know

Connecting your Google account does not replace the YMCA Zoom directory. YMCA Zoom users will continue to appear automatically in the company directory.

Google contact integration is especially useful for personal contacts, vendors, outside organizations, and other people you communicate with who are not YMCA Zoom users.

Tip: If someone you call regularly isn't appearing in Zoom, add them to your Google Contacts. Once synchronized, you can search for them from Zoom instead of entering their phone number each time.
